Der KOUKAAM IPCorder KNR-090 ist ein plattformunabhängiges Aufnahmegerät und für die Verwaltung, Aufnahme und Überwachung von IP-Kameras bestimmt. Alle Video-Aufnahmen lassen sich leicht finden, anschauen, archivieren oder exportieren. Bis zu 4 Kameras (mit bis zu 5Mpix) und Videoserver können gleichzeitig bedient werden. Der IPCorder eignet sich bestens zur Überwachung von Büros, Häusern, Parkplätzen oder zu Bildungszwecken. Die einfache Bedienung, die Unabhängigkeit und der erschwingliche Preis sprechen vor allem Anwender kleinerer Kamerasysteme an.

Man kann weltweit auf einen IPCorder zugreifen, denn für die Überwachung der Kamerabilder, das Abspielen der Aufnahmen und die gesamte Verwaltung der Anlage genügt ein herkömmlicher Internetbrowser. Dank der JAVA-basierten Lösung ist der IPCorder im Unterschied zu allen anderen vergleichbaren Anlagen plattformunabhängig und damit sowohl mit Microsoft Windows als auch mit Linux und Apple Mac OS X kompatibel.

Alle Funktionen des KOUKAAM IPCorders sind im Lieferumfang des Grundpaketes enthalten. Keine Zuschläge für Kameralizenzen, Zusatzfunktionen oder Aktualisierungen. Im Vergleich zu den herkömmlichen computerbasierten Aufzeichnungsgeräten spart der als sehr leise eingestufte IPCorder bis zu 1.000 kWh Energie pro Jahr.
